Nearshore Ocean Fishing

Includes trolling for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, or King Mackerel. For Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish, we troll along the beaches from Figure 8 Island to Carolina Beach. For Kings, we slow troll along artificial reefs, ledges, and hard bottom areas. Fishing for kings can also produce other fish such as Sailfish, Cobia, Mahi, Wahoo, Barracuda, Sharks, and Amberjack. Live bait fishing for king mackerel is offered by request and if live bait is available.

Sunrise and Sunset Cruises

Includes morning or evening cruises of the Wrightsville Beach area including the AIWW, ocean, and Banks Channel. Go for a short 1 hour cruise in the early evening around Wrightsville Beach or for a longer 3 hour day cruise around Masonboro Island (from Wrightsville Beach to Carolina Beach). If you prefer, we also offer a 3 hour boat tour of Figure 8 Island and Riches Inlet.   We offer the “River to Sea” cruise. This unique ride leaves Wrightsville Beach and heads south through the Cape Fear River to Bald Head Island and/or Southport with a possible return (pending weather) in the ocean by crossing Frying Pan Shoals and cruise up the beaches of Fort Fisher, Kure Beach, and Carolina Beach. You may see dolphins, whales, jumping kings, sea turtles, schools of feeding fish, and a large variety of sea birds. The River to Sea Trip is approximately 100 miles and takes a full day.
